The Benchmade Bushcrafter fixed blade is back in an elevated, premium OD Green edition ready for the trail or staying off it. A thick, stonewashed S30V blade offers good corrosion resistance and edge retention, making the Bushcrafter perfect for, well, bushcrafters. CPM-S30V: A PM stainless steel developed specifically for use in knife blades, S30V has a high level of wear resistance (edge retention) with good corrosion resistance, better than 440C or 420HC. The powdered process refines the grain improving performance for a balanced blade steel. Toughness is comparable to other PM stainless steels, relatively low.
