What makes this knife unforgettable is that it’s a button lock flipper with multiple opening options! You can open with thumb studs, you can use the miniature hidden flipper tab, and you can also use the pocket on the blade to open this knife… And finally… To fully appreciate this next opening option you’ll have to watch the video below. Our goal was to lighten this beast while keeping it amazingly strong, so we 3D-machined it inside and out. This is our first button lock flipper! (And what a challenge it was to pull off!) And finally, for this second run of the Sumo, we added a little “bling” by anodizing the thumb studs, pocket clip, backspacer, AND pivot in Blue, Purple or Tan – very subtle and muted colors that set off the look of the knife in a way we haven’t tried before!
