Based on the exciting Airborne folder by Gus T. Cecchini of GTC Knives, the Zero Tolerance 0055BLK Sprint Run offers dramatic aerodynamic lines on both the blade and handle and ZT’s meticulous precision build. It features a dynamic machined pattern on its black DLC-coated titanium handle and has a titanium frame lock with a hardened steel lockbar insert. The custom backspacer is anodized aluminum in matte black, and the rest of the hardware is also black. It has a closed length of 5", weighs about 5 ounces, and comes with an ambidextrous, tip-up, titanium pocket clip and lanyard hole.
The 3.5" CPM 20CV modified tanto features Gus' SLT hidden flipper tab. The action is similar to a two-stage rifle trigger. While the knife is closed, the flipper is concealed. When you’re ready to open it, pull back on the SLT and a spring flips the tab up into position. Then just pull back on the tab and the 0055BLK opens just like any other ZT. The hidden SLT ensures there’s no flipper tab poking up along the spine or beneath the handle to interrupt the sleek lines of the 0055BLK. The 0055BLK’s blade glides out of the handle on ZT’s KVT ball-bearing system, ready for use
